What is a Pollen Press?
A pollen press (also known as a kief press) is a metal tool that helps you solidify trichomes and small herbal material into a solid disc shape. Those that smoke a lot generate a fair amount of pollen in the bottom chamber of their herb grinder. Once they have collected enough pollen, it can then be put into the pollen press for compression. After you have the press loaded, cap it and turn the handle to create the pressure needed to solidify the disc. Leave the herbal material under pressure for several hours before opening it again. With our hammer style press, load it the same way and hit the end with a hammer to form the pollen puck. Once you have formed a solid disc, little bits can then be broken off to load into a hand pipe or bong slide.
